Sr. Architect

A mid-sized Architecture firm in Evanston is looking to add a Sr. Architect to their team! This firm primarily focuses on interior build-outs and renovations of existing structures. Travel is expected approximately once per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents, including details, wall sections, elevations, and reflected ceiling plans

• Develop and contribute to architectural drawings using AutoCAD and tools such as Photoshop and SketchUp

• Collaborate on project delivery, including assisting with project management and overseeing select project components

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with Revit is highly preferred

• 6-8+ years of experience in architecture

• Bachelor of Architecture

• Experience working on hospitality projects is preferred, but corporate workplace, large retail, or medical/healthcare projects are also transferrable

• Professional licensure is preferred, but candidates actively pursuing licensure or nearing completion of exams are encouraged to apply

• Some managerial skills or experience in project management

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evanston, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $48.00/hr.
