Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Certified Surg Tech - Pediatric OR Shift: Days, 6:45a-3:15p, 8x5, 40hrs per week Length: 13 weeks Weekend rotation: unlikely, but could be assigned a weekend shift if weekend staff are off On call: approx. 2 weeknights (1900-0700) and 1 weekend (1900 F - 0700 M) every 6 weeks, 30 min response time (1 RN, 1 Surg Tech on call at a time) Night Shift: not required to take call Requirements 2+ years high level acute OR experience; will consider adult + peds BLS CST Other Details Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, if has 5+ years experience EMR: Epic Floating: PICU to assist with procedures, NICU at TG (across street/connected by walkway) Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: neonates - 18, including adult sized patients, developmentally delayed and/or congenital anomalies; peds traumas - MVAs, GSWs, shaken baby; neurosurgery - Cranies, EVDs, shunts; spine - scoliosis repairs, spinal injuries; urology - hyper/hypospadias repair, orchiopexy, orchiectomy, inguinal hernias; gyn - ovarian torsion, ovarian cyst, endometriosis lesions, IUD placements; ortho - pinnings, ACL repairs, arthroscopies, hip osteotomies; oncology - general, tumor resections; ENT - T/As, PE tubes, trachs; general - GI related surgeries (lap/open appies, lap/open cholies), other general cases; experience preferred, not required in dental, ophthalmology - strabismus repairs, robotics - DaVinci XI Skills required: scrubbing above case types; preferred - robotics, high-level neuro, eyes, dental Scrub Color: provided 152 total licensed bed level II peds trauma with 70 bed level IV NICU; 8 total Ors - 7 general + 1 CVOR Epic Travel Staffing Day 1 health insurance coverage and comprehensive benefits options 401(k) matching program Weekly direct deposit Industry leading allowances and reimbursements Referral program with cash bonuses and additional perks Exclusive job openings - Only at Epic Epic Staffing Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
