Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand the mental health challenges faced by clients, effectively utilizing diagnostic tools and clinical interviews to formulate comprehensive treatment plans. \n
- Deliver engaging therapeutic sessions employing a variety of established modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices tailored to individual client needs. \n
- Collaborate closely with clients to establish realistic therapeutic goals, continually assessing their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary. \n
- Provide teletherapy options to increase accessibility for clients who may face transportation barriers or prefer virtual sessions. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation to comply with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring transparency, accountability, and quality in client care. \n
- Participate in regular professional development through workshops, seminars, and peer consultations, keeping abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices. \n
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a varied client demographic, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid state license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology. \n
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and trust with clients. \n
- Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental stance toward clients’ experiences and challenges. \n
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage your caseload and administrative responsibilities. \n
While relevant licensure and education are the primary qualifications, experience in private practice or outpatient counseling, particularly in virtual settings, will give you an edge. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management is also advantageous, as we seek to integrate modern solutions into our workflow to enhance client care efficiency.
