Process Operator

Job Summary

Seeking a Process Operator to support fermentation and utility operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, operating control systems, and maintaining equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust process parameters including temperature, pH, and flow.
• Prepare and feed raw materials into production batches.
• Perform quality testing for pH and ethanol levels.
• Operate control room systems and process controls.
• Record production data and complete quality documentation.
• Conduct equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
• Hook up/disconnect hoses for product transfer and cleaning.
• Clean tanks, equipment, and work areas.
• Support utility and fermentation operations as needed.
• Follow safety, food safety, and SOP requirements.
• Work overtime and rotating shifts when required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food production or process operations.
• Experience monitoring production processes and operating equipment.
• Knowledge of quality testing, pH measurements, and process controls.
• Ability to use meters, instruments, and basic automated control systems.
• Comfortable performing general labor, climbing ladders, and working indoors/outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour schedule and cross-train in multiple areas.

Schedule

• Rotating 3-on/3-off schedule
• 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Overtime available as needed

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
