Packager
Defiance, Ohio area candy company is looking for people to work their first shift, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Mon-Fri. $18/hr.

Packager Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $18.00 /hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday)
- Package chocolate products into boxes, cartons, or display packaging.
- Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper labeling.
- Remove damaged or defective products from the production line.
- Assemble boxes and prepare products for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with cleaning equipment and workstations as needed.
- Report equipment issues or product quality concerns to a supervisor.
- Perform other production duties as assigned.
Packager Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be able to work with a team
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the production area.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), gloves, and safety glasses.
- Must understand no jewelry can be worn in the plant
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
