Now hiring a motivated Line Cook/Pizza Maker with a positive attitude for a new food service location in Clay. Prepare pizza and Italian cuisine while helping build a second location into the area’s leading food service provider. This individual contributor role includes lead station responsibilities, with opportunities for lead cook progression and a pathway toward kitchen management. A leading line cook who takes on additional responsibilities may be eligible for increased salary.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food and pizza according to established standards.
- Prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Set up and organize kitchen stations.
- Portion ingredients consistently.
- Operate commercial ovens.
- Use the point-of-sale kitchen display to manage orders.
- Maintain a clean kitchen and work effectively with coworkers.
- Follow food safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of cooking experience.
- Experience with food preparation and Italian cuisine.
- Commercial oven operation experience.
- Knowledge of food safety and portion control.
