Director Of Nursing (Don) / Registered Nurse (Rn)

The Director Of Nursing (Don) / Registered Nurse (Rn) plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the nursing department within a healthcare facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position is responsible for managing nursing staff, developing and implementing nursing policies, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The Don/Rn collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and improve clinical outcomes. Additionally, this role involves budgeting, staffing, and training responsibilities to foster a supportive and efficient nursing environment. Ultimately, the Don/Rn ensures that all nursing activities align with the facility's mission to provide compassionate, safe, and effective care to patients and residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (Rn) license in the state of employment.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Director Of Nursing or in a senior nursing management position.
• Experience working in long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, or similar healthcare settings.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (Ehr) and healthcare management software.

Responsibilities:
