Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides diagnostic radiologic services by performing X-ray procedures, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Collaborates with medical staff to deliver safe and efficient imaging care aligned with established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images based on physician orders.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and safety precautions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and imaging outcomes.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' current X-ray experience.
• Active NYS Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR systems.
• Experienced with level 1 trauma hospital settings preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and permanent address matching ID.
