We are a friendly family dental office seeking a motivated and compassionate  Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about patient care and committed to creating a positive dental experience for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Review and update patient medical and oral health histories
• Conduct intraoral and extraoral oral cancer screenings
• Identify conditions such as gingivitis, dental caries, and periodontitis
• Take digital FMX and bitewing X-rays as needed
• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning and removing tartar, stains, and plaque
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and home care techniques
• Maintain accurate patient charts and clinical documentation
• Follow office safety and infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of Connecticut
• Current CPR certification
• 1–2 years of experience in a dental practice preferred
• Friendly, caring, and professional demeanor
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and hygiene procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
