Job Opportunity – General Cardiology Physician – Ohio
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Canton, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday–Friday day shift hospital rounding with approximately one weeknight call per week plus weekend call coverage. Day, night, and weekend responsibilities. Coverage needed due to loss of full-time staff.
Highlights:
- Non-invasive general cardiology position focused on inpatient hospital rounding
- Work alongside 3–4 advanced practice providers and one other general cardiologist for collaborative support
- Epic EMR system in use
- Primary responsibilities include new cardiology consults, inpatient follow-ups, and EKG reading as needed
- Very busy cardiology service with variable patient census based on hospital volume
- No procedures required
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
- Active state medical license or eligibility for Ohio licensure
- Strong experience in general cardiology with inpatient rounding
- Availability for weeknight and weekend call coverage
