Shift: Sunday - Thursday | 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Friday and Saturday off; schedule may change based on operational needs.)

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Picker Forklift Driver to join our team at Western Post. This position is responsible for operating a forklift to accurately pick, move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the warehouse while supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate has previous forklift and warehouse experience, is committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution setting. A manager will review each applicant's work experience to determine which position is best suited for their skills and experience. Please be prepared to discuss your previous work history during the interview.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift safely to pick, transport, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse.
Accurately retrieve products from designated warehouse locations based on operational needs.
Safely stack, organize, and store materials in assigned locations.
Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
Assist with inventory movements and maintain accurate product locations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

Previous forklift operating experience required.
Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment required.
Ability to consistently lift and move more than 70 lbs. throughout the shift.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and compliance.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
Reliable attendance and excellent punctuality required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Willingness to work overtime or schedule changes based on operational needs.
