Our client is a vertically integrated developer-builder specializing in the construction of ground-up multifamily residential communities throughout the Hudson Valley and surrounding markets. With expertise in wood-frame apartment construction, they oversee projects from acquisition and development through construction and delivery. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and contract administration
• Track and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and ownership teams
• Support procurement activities and material tracking efforts
• Attend project meetings and distribute meeting minutes
• Review construction drawings and specifications
• Assist with project reporting and forecasting
• Work closely with Superintendents to support field operations
• Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

• 1-5 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or a related role
• Multifamily, residential, or wood-frame construction experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
