Supervisory Air Traffic Assistant (Supervisory Flight Data Communications Specialist)

Job Title

Job duties include:

• Monitoring and evaluating performance; coaching and developing employee capabilities; approving leave; and taking or recommending corrective/disciplinary action.
• Participating directly with the management team of the facility with full responsibility for Flight Data and Communications Operations.
• Serving as COMSEC Manager, responsible for managing and controlling accountable COMSEC material.
• Applying comprehensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed, a detailed knowledge of budget, human resource, and other administrative policies and procedures, and a detailed understanding of the objectives of the organizational unit.
• Serving as Classified Information Security Manager (CISM), advising management in matters about classifying, declassifying, downgrading and safeguarding classified information.
• Developing procedures, specifying how the organization controls and safeguards classified information.
• Serving as Classified Information Account Custodian (CIAC) appointed to run the facility Security Control Point (SCP).
