MAACO Collision Repair and Auto Painting is seeking a self-motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for success to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The General Manager is responsible for leading the overall operation of the center, including sales, production, financial performance, employee development, customer satisfaction, and day-to-day operations. This position works closely with the team to drive sales, profitability, efficiency, quality, and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Staff Management

• Oversee hiring, training, development, transfers, compensation, and discipline of staff.
• Manage employee performance and development to support company goals.
• Prioritize and organize the work and time of yourself and others to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Create a sense of urgency within the shop to achieve production volume and turnaround-time goals.
• Work collaboratively with Production staff to achieve efficiency and quality standards.

Sales & Customer Service

• Generate and capture sales leads and work toward daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales objectives established by management.
• Actively pursue retail leads generated from trade work received at third-party locations.
• Interact with Trade and Insurance accounts to ensure prompt and courteous service, including following up on leads from trade work.
• Provide every customer with courteous treatment, fair and honest written estimates, and reasonable expectations using Total Honest Communication .
• Manage customer satisfaction and vehicle delivery to encourage referrals, repeat business, and customer loyalty.
• Participate in outside or special sales events as directed by management.
• Track daily and weekly performance and be prepared to review results with management.

Estimating & Production

• Analyze collision and/or paint-damaged vehicles to develop repair plans and determine costs.
• Review repair orders with technicians as necessary.
• Manage vehicle intake and check-in procedures.
• Obtain paint formulas, ensure required information accompanies the repair order, and clearly mark vehicles and repair orders for accurate communication with shop staff.
• Work closely with Production staff to maintain efficiency, quality, and turnaround-time standards.

Parts & Inventory Management

• Order, track, follow up on, receive, and verify parts for accuracy.
• Monitor parts costs and profit margins.
• Return unused parts and follow up on credits.
• Maintain accurate parts tracking through MIS and the organizer system.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and controls.

Financial & Operational Management

• Manage financial controls, center operations, employee development, and customer service.
• Review and interpret financial reporting to identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Maintain accurate CCC and OneMaaco MIS reports, including:
• • Telephone Log
  • Appointment Calendar
  • Paintline Status Update
  • Parts Status Update
  • Daily End of Day
  • Weekly Close
  • Other required operational reports

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of production management or sales leadership experience required .
• Proven success in sales, operations, and leadership.
• Strong understanding of profit and loss statements and the ability to use financial information to influence profitability.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage your own workload as well as the work of others.
• Experience with CCC ONE or similar estimating software preferred .
• Results-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
• Comfortable with performance-based compensation.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collision repair environment.

Compensation

Salary + UNCAPPED Quarterly Bonus Based on Performance & Sales
