Job Summary

Our client in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associates / Reach Truck Operators to support fast-paced warehouse operations.

The position is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and shipping products accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and food handling.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on reach truck experience, warehouse experience, and strong knowledge of RF scanning systems.

Important: Reach truck experience is required. Candidates with only sit-down forklift experience will not meet the requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks and other warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and on schedule.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store inventory using FIFO/FEFO procedures.
• Move materials and products between  warehouse and production areas.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and complete warehouse transactions.
• Ensure products are properly labeled with barcodes, pallet tags, and allergen stickers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report damaged products, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety requirements.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, OSHA regulations, and food safety policies.
• Work closely with production, inventory, and logistics teams to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in food manufacturing, or 2+ years of reach truck/warehouse equipment experience.
• Hands-on reach truck experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using RF scanning systems.
• Current forklift/reach truck certification or the ability to become certified.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to follow safety, quality, and food-handling procedures.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Candidates with experience in reach truck operation, RF scanners, inventory control, food manufacturing, warehouse operations, and material handling are encouraged to apply.
