X-ray Technologist - Day Shift, 13 Weeks

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30) with weekend requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services. The ideal candidate should be proficient in performing general and portable X-rays, fluoroscopy procedures, and operating room imaging using C-arms and O-arms (though O-arm experience is preferred but not required). This role will require a tech who is accustomed to working with a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, infants, and pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and portable X-ray procedures on inpatients and outpatients.
• Conduct fluoroscopy procedures.
• Utilize C-arms and O-arms in the operating room as needed.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper safety protocols are followed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-ray technologist required.
• Current certifications: BLS and ARRT (Radiography).
• Competence in providing imaging for a variety of patient age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics.
