We're seeking a dependable and motivated Events Dishwasher to support our high-volume, banquet-style event kitchen. This role ensures cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all dishware and equipment before, during, and after events. You'll be instrumental in delivering a seamless guest experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dish machines and sanitize all dishes, tools, and kitchen equipment.
• Wash, organize, and properly store dishware in designated locations.
• Handle dishes and glassware carefully to avoid breakage.
• Monitor dish machine performance and report issues to kitchen leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish pit, floors, prep stations, and trash/recycling areas.
• Remove trash and recyclables; keep dumpster area clean and tidy.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing sinks, ovens, and kitchen surfaces.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and organized.
• Support the kitchen team by assisting with deliveries, prep work, and general maintenance.
• Stay productive during slower periods by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Take direction from chefs, supervisors, and managers as needed.
• Stage dishware and tools for timed service and support quick resets between courses

Team Collaboration

• Communicate with chefs and event leads for real-time coordination
• Report shortages or rewash needs promptly
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure

Role Qualifications

• Prefer prior experience in dishwashing for restaurants; catering, or events a plus
• Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and best practices preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working in hot, fast-paced environments
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and move efficiently
• Flexible schedule: weekends, evenings, and some holidays required
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.

Pay Range

USD $15.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
