NA Procurement Manager (Automotive)

Report to: BU GM Primary Objective Develop, manage and lead the sourcing team (Automotive) in North America, to identify and develop qualified low-cost suppliers, focus on new supplier sourcing, qualification, price negotiation and vendor management. Responsibilities Globally source electronic components, PCB, Sheet metal, plastic parts, cable assembly. Source test and assembly equipment for production plant Request and negotiate price quotes and delivery time, primarily in North America Region. Achieve yearly cost down target. Monitor department and company goals for which sourcing has responsibility. Coordinate procurement of special material for special projects and engineering samples for new technology. Implement supplier changes, monitor their success or failure, and adjust as needed. Familiarize with new technology that would be used in a production manufacturing facility. Work with PMC, RD and QA to improve material supply performance. Develop and manage cost reduction program. Manage and bring up team. International travelling. Requirements Bachelor’s degree and above. Minimum 10 years similar working experience in multi-national manufacturing company. Experience in automotive or 3C electronics industry is a must requirement. Familiar with electronics component is preferred. Good initiative of work, self-driving, result oriented, powerful and confidence. Good in communication, negotiation, decision making, networking and innovation. Good in oral and written English.
