Senior Accountant

Compensation: To $85K. Job Overview – Senior Accountant – 34471 Our client is an established organization with strong leadership and a collaborative accounting environment. They are looking for a Senior Accountant with the skills to support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, compliance, and audit activities while working closely with the Controller and CFO. Job Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Support a timely and accurate month-end close. Manage fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation. Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies. Partner with Accounts Payable on coding and approvals. Oversee accounts receivable and credit card transactions. Support compliance reporting, including property taxes, licenses, and unclaimed property. Assist with financial reporting and budgeting. Provide documentation for interim and year-end audits. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 2-4 years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Professional communication skills and ability to work with all levels of leadership. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
