Chick-fil-A Prep Team Members prepare fresh ingredients, including produce (lettuce, tomatoes, cabbage) and salads, wraps, and fruit cups. These positions require speed, accuracy, and the ability to stand for long periods.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Produce & Item Prep: Washing, cutting, and portioning produce, preparing salads, wraps, and fruit cups while adhering to allergen protocols especially when handling eggs and strawberries.
- Inventory/Safety: Following, storing, and rotating products while adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
- Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and demonstrate high cleanliness standards.
Prep positions are ideal for those who prefer working in a fast-paced kitchen, often finding it less mentally stressful than front-of-house (FOH) roles.
