Pay for this position is $24.00 to $25.00 per hour

Hours are Monday – Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM. Job Summary

Responsible for conducting electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical testing on systems, subassemblies, and components to ensure products meet specifications and identify causes of failures.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret test schedules, work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Perform functional and environmental testing, including temperature, vibration, pressure, and humidity testing.
• Calibrate and operate electronic and mechanical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency meters, and calipers.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and troubleshoot defective units.
• Repair or document defective components and coordinate with production for corrective action.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and improve testing processes.
• Develop test setups and workflows for standard and nonstandard products, including customer returns and development units.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Define requirements for special tooling, fixtures, and testing equipment in collaboration with engineering.
• Schedule work activities to meet production and customer deadlines.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise quality control personnel, including supervisors, technicians, and temporary staff.
• Train employees, assign work, evaluate performance, and resolve personnel issues.
• Promote teamwork, safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a small manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in Quality Control.
• Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical testing equipment and procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings, bills of materials, and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical & Work Environment

• Regular use of hands and close visual attention required.
• Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
• Exposure to mechanical parts, electrical equipment, and moderate noise levels in a manufacturing environment.
