Travel Interventional Radiology Cath Lab Technologist - $2,773 per week

Job Details Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Olney, MD. The right IR Tech should have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience. Responsibilities As an IR Tech, you will operate the fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. You will also prepare patients for the procedure, observe them during intervention, and report any abnormal findings. Tasks Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards to assure adequate safeguards. Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to IR procedures. Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Must have at least 1 year of experience and the following certifications: BLS ACLS

ARRT (R)

State‑specific licensing as required (Vascular Interventional certificate preferred). Additional qualifications: BLS CCI
