Essential Functions
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, studies, and reports in compliance with applicable standards.
- Perform CADD drafting.
- Prepare 3D models of site grading using Civil 3D.
- Independently prepare design documents and calculations.
- Prepare earthwork and other quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and subconsultants.
- Research state and county records, including plats, deeds, and related documents.
- Field work as team member for inspections, locate utilities, traffic counts, various topo items, etc.
- Participate in required training.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Drafting, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer registration preferred but not required.
- Five years or more of relevant design experience required for Design Engineer.
- Proficiency in CADD software, engineering analysis software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build and develop organizational relationships.
