Security Specialist - Controlled Access Program

Special Security Technician

Quantum Sky is searching for a Special Security Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a Controlled Access Program (CAP) security specialist for lifecycle program protection management for USSPACECOM and implements protocols to actively reduce the chances for espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure or compromise of information or material considered vital to command mission interests, national defense, or national security.
• Develops, implements, and integrates CAP program protection requirements supporting USSPACECOM essential program information, operations, technologies, and systems. As the CAP / Special Access Program (SAP) / Special Access Required (SAR) subject matter expert, provides detailed knowledge of DoD, IC, services, and mission partners' CAP / SAP / SAR policies, plans, and procedures. Recommends and executes "cradle to grave" security and program protection as it relates to USSPACECOM operations and equities.
• Trains and manages the daily development of associated personnel on individual CAP / SAP program protection requirements and processes as directed. Provides all CAP / SAP / SAR security operations, analysis decisions, and recommendations in appropriate formats to meet DoD and USSPACECOM requirements.
• Other duties may include but are not limited to: audits of classified material, inspections of classified material storage facilities / SCIFs / containers, and researching and preparing classified material-related policy and management recommendations, reports, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of a DoD / IC collection management course and at least four years of experience relevant to space / counterspace-related intelligence requirements/collection management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $95,000-$110,000 This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
