About Our Client

Our client is seeking an experienced, highly productive Lead A-Level Automotive Technician to join a high-volume automotive repair shop. This position is designed for an accomplished technician who not only excels at advanced diagnostics and major mechanical repairs but also has a proven ability to reliably produce 45+ flagged hours per week .

This role offers realistic earning potential of $145,000–$160,000+ annually through a flat-rate pay plan, consistent workflow, and production bonuses. This is a production-focused shop where the work is steady, the systems are in place, and highly productive technicians have the opportunity to maximize their earnings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engine removal, replacement, and major mechanical repairs.

• Complete timing chain repairs and internal engine work.

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns.

• Identify root causes through accurate automotive diagnostics—not guesswork.

• Perform advanced repairs independently while maintaining quality and efficiency.

• R eliably produce 45+ flagged hours per week.

• Maintain strong productivity without sacrificing repair quality or accuracy.

• Work as part of a high-performing team to maintain consistent workflow and productivity.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of automotive repair experience; ten or more years preferred.

• Proven A-Level diagnostic ability with advanced troubleshooting experience.

• Demonstrated ability to independently complete major mechanical repairs.

• Proven ability to reliably produce 45+ flagged hours per week in a high-volume repair environment.

• Comfortable working in a flat-rate, production-based environment.

• Strong work ethic with a production-focused mindset and commitment to quality repairs.

• Ability to balance speed, efficiency, and quality workmanship.

• European vehicle experience with brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or Audi is preferred.

Compensation

• Flat-rate pay: $40–$55 per flagged hour.

• Production bonus opportunities.

• Realistic annual earning potential of $145,000–$160,000+ , based on the verified pay plan and production expectations. Actual earnings vary based on productivity and are not guaranteed.
