Non-Exempt (Hourly) GENERAL PURPOSE Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation equipment, task trainers, audiovisual systems, and simulation software to support simulation-based learning activities. Assist faculty, staff, and students with the preparation, execution, and evaluation of simulation experiences. Program and manage simulation scenarios, maintain equipment readiness, and support the effective operation of the Clinical Learning Center. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and responsibilities to meet departmental and University needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Set up supplies, equipment, and simulation environments to meet learning objectives and rapidly prepare rooms for subsequent simulation events. Clean, maintain, and prepare simulators and task trainers, including removal of adhesives and moulage, flushing IV systems, and performing routine equipment care. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Clinical Learning Center facilities, ensuring simulators, task trainers, and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Maintain simulation supplies and equipment inventory, assist with equipment maintenance and repairs, support daily Clinical Learning Center operations, and assist with faculty communications, including distributing simulation schedules, updates, and instructional information. REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree 5-8 years of work related experience Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) PREFFERED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Microsoft PowerPoint RESPONSIBILITY FOR PUBLIC CONTACT Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment. The hiring hourly rate for this position is $27.93 to $34.90 This hourly rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
