Associate Attorney - Airports Practice Area Regulatory/Litigation/Transactional

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its airports practice in Denver, CO. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in a dynamic legal practice that intersects transportation, public policy, and infrastructure. The position involves sophisticated work across regulatory, transactional, litigation, environmental, and finance issues related to airports of all sizes. Duties Serve as a key member of the nationwide airports practice. Support other practice areas such as environmental, rail/transit, and project delivery. Work directly with clients and partners on complex federal regulatory and funding schemes. Engage in airport operations, development, finance, construction, procurement, and environmental matters. Travel periodically for client meetings and industry conferences. Requirements 3 to 5 years of legal experience in regulatory, litigation, and/or transactional work. Demonstrated interest in public sector legal work. Exceptional writing, legal drafting, analytical, negotiating, and advocacy skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. Ability to think through complex legal and business issues. Comfort working independently and in a team environment. Action-oriented with initiative and responsibility. Education Law degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (CO, NY, DC, or CA preferred). Skills Experience with federal regulatory frameworks related to airports or transportation. Experience with airport operations, law, or aviation. Interest in public infrastructure, aviation, transportation, or public policy. Experience with construction documents and project delivery methods.
