About the Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU | Nights

Long Beach, CA 90813
Assignment: 13 Weeks 
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend
Pay Rate: $70/hr- $73/hr

Position Details

• Unit: ICU – 32 beds (licensed for 40)

• Shift: Nights

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

• Experience Required: 2+ years; 3 years preferred

• BSN: Not required

• EMR: Cerner

• Patient Ratio: 2:1

• Floating: Tele and ED ICU/Tele holds

• Charge Nurse: Yes – no patient assignment

• Orientation: 12 hours

• Care Setting: Acute Care

Required Certifications

• BLS

• ACLS

• NIHSS

This ICU cares for high-acuity patients, including:

• Neuro and cardiac patients

• PCI

• Sepsis

• Stroke

• Traumatic brain injury (TBI)

• Ventricular patients

• Camino ICP monitoring

• Patients requiring ventilators and continuous drips
