Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved policies, procedures, and legal standards.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately and timely.
  
  
• 
  Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
  
  
• 
  Participate in department performance improvement initiatives and peer review processes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Wisconsin RN license.
  
  
• 
  Complete RN Education Verification.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience in emergency room settings and proficiency in critical thinking.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong documentation skills and knowledge of state laws and standards of care.
