Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Room (ER) position located in Rumford, Maine. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 3 Trauma Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Rumford, ME
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), scheduled for 36 hours per week
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Years of Experience: 2 years recommended; minimum 0 years required
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP certifications, and at least 2 years of relevant emergency room experience. No float requirements are specified.
• Unit Details: The ER is a small hospital with 25 beds, providing comprehensive emergency services, including triage, medical-surgical care, and pediatric services. The department operates with a patient ratio of approximately 1:2.5.
• Clinical Skills: Experience in triage and ability to handle a diverse patient population of all ages with various illnesses and injuries. The RN must demonstrate a high skill level, as they will be one of only two RNs working in the department during shifts.
• Experience Requirement: 0 years minimum, with a preference for candidates with 2 years of ER experience.
