Group 1 Gmc Coastal Bend is growing and seeking a high-quality, experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team! This is an opportunity to represent the GMC brand in a high-performing dealership environment committed to excellence in both service and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage service appointments to ensure an efficient and seamless customer experience
• Greet customers, perform vehicle walkarounds, and accurately document concerns and service needs
• Create detailed repair orders with clear, transparent cost and time estimates
• Recommend maintenance and additional services based on vehicle condition, mileage, and manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate effectively with technicians and parts departments to prioritize work and ensure timely completion
• Provide consistent updates to customers on repair status, timelines, and any changes to scope or cost
• Deliver vehicles upon completion, reviewing work performed and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain strong product and warranty knowledge to confidently guide customers through service recommendations
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive retention and repeat business

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Service Advisor experience (dealership preferred)
• CDK experience is desired
• Interpersonal Communication Skills
• Basic Computer Skills
• Strong Desire to Provide an Exceptional Client Experience
• Ability to Achieve Targeted Goals
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
