Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will handle complex cardiac and vascular cases, including electrophysiology (EP), structural heart procedures such as TAVR, and hybrid approaches like EVAR. The position is based in a well-equipped Cardiac Cath Lab that also operates with an advanced electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Conduct complex cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain and operate specialized imaging equipment, including GE Maclab systems.
• Participate in the management and documentation of patient records using EMR (Epic).
• Provide support for all lab operations and participate in after-hours call as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or similar environment.
• Current certification in ACLS and BLS (AHA) is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience in handling various cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Work Schedule

This position offers a 4x10 work schedule, totaling 40 hours per week, with the need to be on call as required.
