Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts with 32 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract position starting 6/29/2026
• Must be willing to float to multiple facilities: Aspirus Merrill, Aspirus Wausau, Aspirus Stanley, and Aspirus Medford
• Call requirements: every 4th weekend, 1-2 weekdays, and holiday rotation
• Weekend schedule: rotating every 4th weekend
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin or compact RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Minimum 2+ years of OR experience required
• Epic charting system preferred
• Work in 3 operating rooms and 1 GI procedure room
• Required skills include orthopedic, general surgery, GI, pain management, OB/GYN procedures
• Cataract experience is a bonus but not required
• Must be flexible, hardworking, resilient, and manage change well
• Expected to perform downtime tasks when needed
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• May be placed on call during low census periods
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and covid vaccination
