What You'll Do and What You'll Bring

What You'll Do

• Compile Group Business Billing and collaborate cross departmentally to ensure payments on subledgers are cleared through processing credit cards and posting registers
• Assist in preparing month end reports for aging and following up on all outstanding balances
• Code invoices and work with managers to ensure they are submitting invoices timely
• Reconcile statements to ensure we are recording and paying invoices
• Track estimated commission per events you are billing for and upload log
• Keep daily tax tracker up to date and track tax exempt transaction
• Tie folios and collected taxes to what should have been collected
• General Cashiering Duties including processing daily deposits within time constraints
• Ensure deposit logs are correct and work with leaders for noncompliance
• Process and respond to credit card disputes; ensure tracker and proper documentation is kept
• Utilize reports pulled from ou reconciliation too) and use different systems for discrepancies

What You'll Bring

• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping filing systems and basic knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects such as A/R, A/P, etc.
• Skilled with numbers, billing, balancing and experience with PMS & POS systems, credit card processing systems.
• Excellent customer service skills - promptly responding to billing questions and de-escalating heightened questions and scenarios.
• A High School Degree or GED is required.
• Hotel experience and A/P & A/R experience is a plus!
