Entry Level Environmental EngineerAECOM is actively seeking an Entry Level Environmental Engineer for employment within our Environmental Remediation Practices group in the Fort Collins or Denver, Colorado offices to support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn new skills and methods on challenging field and office assignments in a collaborative team environment.Tasks will include:Conducting environmental field work, including collecting soil, groundwater, and remediation system data, groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging and oversight of subcontractors.Produce accurate and complete documentation of operation, inspections and complianceField document preparation, field data collection, processing and interpretation.Supporting office tasks, including data analysis and report preparation.Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or closely related field and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.Valid driver's license, subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening.Subject to Background check.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.US Citizen or Permanent Resident.Preferred Qualifications:Relevant years of field experience in environmental consulting.40-Hour HAZWOPER Training Supervisory.Master's Degree is a plus.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent attention to Health and Safety.Additional Information:Sponsorship is not offered for this role.Relocation is not offered for this role.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
