Job Summary

Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Occupational Therapy. The Occupational Therapist provides rehabilitative services for patients affected by illness, injury, or psychological or developmental conditions. The role supports care across inpatient and outpatient settings and includes patient evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, interdisciplinary coordination, and clinical supervision.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program; Occupational Therapist licensure as required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ability to provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Hand certification.
• Schedule: Day shifts; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Plans, organizes, and conducts occupational therapy programs; completes patient evaluations and treatment documentation; develops and updates individualized Plans of Care; provides and progresses treatment according to established standards; coordinates care with members of the healthcare team; provides clinical supervision to assistants and aides; may serve as a clinical instructor; participates in quality improvement and interdisciplinary initiatives; maintains a clean, safe treatment environment; inspects and disinfects equipment; safeguards patient Protected Health Information (PHI); and completes services in accordance with applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements.
