DIRECT CARE

The Direct Care Worker/Medication Technician is responsible for the daily supervision and care of the client as determined by each client’s individual treatment plan. The ideal candidate will be able to assist clients who need partial to total care as well as the ability to complete daily medication passes, housekeeping tasks, and preparation of meals while providing direct care to patients.Minimum Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or GEDExperience: Prefer at least TWO years experience with the TBI population or rehabilitation.Current valid driver's license with no more than (3) pointsMust be able to pass a drug testNegative TB test result needed prior to hireWhat You Will Do:Provide direct care to adult clients based on established care plan.Assist clients with activities of daily living skills including bathing, dressing, grooming. Supervise, and/or assist clients in accordance with the person-centered plan, including personal care, recreation, and reinforcement of individual rehabilitation objectives.Administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and/or health care professionals.Chart each client’s daily documentation log including goals, completed tasks, and behavior before the end of your shift.Moderate housekeeping/cleaning duties are assigned dailyPrepare and/or serve meals according to a set menu and adherence to prescribed diets.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeStarts at $17.00/hrSchedule:8-12 hour shiftsRotating weekends and alternate holidays are requiredAbility to commute/relocate:Southfield, MI 48033: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In PersonBackground Check requiredRotating weekends and alternate holidays are required #J-18808-Ljbffr
