Sr Accounting Manager/Director - R&D

Job Description Cambridge Biopharma R& D - to $250k Accounting / Finance Leadership role. Compensation: to $250k plus outstanding (free) benefits and amazing retirement. The Company has multiple assets in various stages of clinic. Lots going on from a science perspective. 50% in office, so you must live within the commutable area of Cambridge. Our client, a growing pharma R&D in Cambridge, is seeking a strong (very hands-on) Sr Manager / Associate Director level to take ownership of the R&D accounting, CT accruals, etc. This role is a highly visible position within this very well-funded R&D, so you will be handling a variety of key areas within the finance and accounting group, including: Leading the CTs CROs financial process, accounting, and forecasting. Collaborating with business partners and functional leaders to ensure proper guidance on forecasts, expense mgmt, etc. Detailed contract review for multiple R&D assets that are in various stages of trials. Accounting systems enhancements, process improvement, implementation of specific R&D tools as needed. Provide performance reviews of various areas within R&D and align proper Internal Controls and practices. Provide direct and indirect oversight to outsourced resources when r This role requires: 10-20+ years of experience in Accounting. Significant Pharma industry experience. Significant experience accounting for R&D accruals, clinical trial contract review, models, forecasting, etc. CPA MBA a plus, but not a requirement.
