As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Part Time Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour $18.22 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility operations location. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required activity logs. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel. Minimum Requirements A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
