In this position, you will be a member of a growing team supporting the development of mission critical applications for the Intelligence community.This role supports a hybrid schedule and requires presence in Centreville, VA 3 days per week. What You'll Be Doing:Develop test plans and procedures to ensure software meets agreed upon expectations Ensure test plans and procedures provide adequate test coverage for functional testsTest execution and report the progress to the team and product owners Coordinate with engineers to identify and report issues Defect testing and managementResponsible for deploying builds for testing Responsible for testing in multiple environmentsManage associated test artifacts and support government test eventsMust be able to work in a cross functional teamSupport client testing events such as Development Test (DT) and Operational Testing (OT)Provide testing updates to the team and upper management Prepare reports for internal and external useParticipate in SAFe planning and execution What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years of experience in software engineering and/or product testing. Additional experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.Active TS/SCI is requiredUnderstanding of the different types and categories of software testingAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnelAbility to apply a variety of tools and techniques to verify complex business processes via manual, automated, and semi-automated test casesSelf-starter with a strong work ethic that works well with others and who can thrive in a fast-paced environmentWell versed with Linux, VMWare, and Microsoft WindowsExperience with JIRAExperience with Confluence What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience with SQL commands and queriesExperience working with testing web appsExperience and familiarization with the space situational awareness domainExperience automating regression tests and working within software testing frameworksExperience with test automation using Selenium is a plusSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
