Shift: 10H Days (0630-1500 or 1045-1915)

Hours/week: 36-40

Employment Type: Contract

Licenses/Certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CSFA/CSA (preferred for first assists)

Experience: Minimum 2 years OR or acute care experience, robotic and neuro experience preferred

Pay rate: $50.92/hour

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized care in the OR across various case types including robotic, neuro-spine, transplant, bariatric, and urology
• Circulate during surgeries; scrub experience preferred but not required
• Assist with complex procedures such as robotic surgeries, neuro, transplant, and general surgeries
• Support anesthesiology and surgical tech teams as needed
• Maintain compliance with certifications, EKG competency exams, and hospital protocols
• Work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment to ensure patient safety and quality care

What You Need

• Current RN license in Louisiana or compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years OR or acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Neuro and robotic surgery experience preferred
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam

• Transplant experience (kidney, liver, pancreas)
• Neuro, thoracic, and general surgery experience
• Certification such as CSFA or CSA for first assists
