Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient and effective treatment during high-pressure situations. Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year ED experience.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible.
• Professional, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
