Vehicle Technician Location: Bristol Salary: £30,000 - £30,000 per annum + Bonus Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Join a leading automotive workshop in Bristol. The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high‑quality servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while ensuring excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard. Diagnose vehicle faults and identify additional repair requirements. Complete job cards and service documentation accurately. Conduct vehicle inspections, pre‑delivery inspections (PDI) and vehicle health checks. Work collaboratively with the workshop team to achieve productivity and quality targets. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer and health & safety standards. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent). Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Vehicle Mechanic. Full UK Driving Licence. MOT Tester Licence (desirable but not essential). Excellent diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work. A positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills. Salary & Benefits Basic salary of £30,000 – £50,000, depending on experience.
