About the Role We're looking for a Family Law Attorney to join our team in Topeka or Kansas City, with the possibility of a hybrid schedule. In this role, you'll represent clients through divorce, custody, child support, paternity, adoption, and other domestic relations matters — helping people navigate difficult transitions with clarity and confidence. Day to day, you'll: Represent clients in divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, and other family law matters Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements Meet with clients to understand their goals, explain their options, and build case strategy Appear in court hearings and mediations Negotiate with opposing counsel to reach favorable resolutions Collaborate with staff to keep cases organized and moving forward Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients throughout their case What We're Looking For J.D. from an accredited law school, with an active license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice in Kansas Experience or strong interest in family/domestic law Solid legal research and drafting skills Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills Clear, confident written and oral communication Ability to manage a caseload with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Genuine empathy and patience for clients going through difficult personal circumstances High integrity and respect for client confidentiality If you're an attorney who wants to make a meaningful difference for families navigating difficult transitions, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
