Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
This position involves 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Flexibility to stay until the last patient is cared for is required.
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will be an integral part of a team that performs a variety of advanced cardiovascular procedures. This role necessitates comprehensive knowledge of invasive cardiology, including complex coronary procedures and electrophysiology.
Assist in invasive cardiac procedures, including electrophysiology and catheterization.
Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring optimal care and safety.
Administer medications and IV therapies as required.
Maintain a sterile environment and follow safety protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a cardiac or critical care setting.
Current certifications: ACLS and BLS.
Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
Ability to care for diverse patient populations, including COVID patients.
