You will be the cornerstone of patient care, interpreting prescriptions and dispensing medications with precision and compassion. Your role goes beyond the counter; you will provide vital patient education and counseling, ensuring everyone leaves with clarity and confidence. You'll also mentor and supervise a talented team of pharmacy technicians, modeling the outstanding, confidential customer service we're known for.
Accurately interpret prescriptions and dispense pharmaceuticals in full compliance with all laws. Provide clear patient counseling and education, becoming a trusted healthcare resource. Supervise and lead technical staff, fostering a positive and efficient workflow. Be a role model for compassionate, patient-centered care in every interaction.
A degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and an active Ohio pharmacist license. At least one year of relevant experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A genuine commitment to exceptional customer service and unwavering confidentiality.
We are hiring for two full-time and one part-time position across two vibrant outpatient locations.
Location 1: Open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, and 9am-5pm on weekends. You'll work one Saturday every 4 weeks and one Sunday every 12 weeks. With overlapping pharmacist coverage, we can accommodate preferences for three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. This team fills a high volume in a supportive environment with ample staff.
Location 2: Open Monday-Friday 9am-7pm and Saturday 9am-5pm (closed Sunday). Shifts are either 9am-5:30pm or 10:30am-7pm, working one Saturday every four weeks. Enjoy a strong team structure with multiple pharmacists scheduled daily. Both locations are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas, with a fair holiday rotation averaging about one holiday shift every year or two.
Your compensation is a direct reflection of your experience. The range is $54.85/hr ($114K) to $75/hr ($156K). For example, a candidate with approximately 10 years of experience would earn around $64.52/hr ($134K). We also offer a comprehensive full-time benefits package.
