Data Analyst, Medicaid Fraud, Belleville, 26-02

Overview The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, querying, organizing, and researching data. They will perform comprehensive data analysis in support of case assessment and investigative duties, identify questionable practices, abnormalities and/or irregularities, and support investigations with data-driven insights. Responsibilities Run queries using specialized databases and develop data history analyses to support investigations. Prepare written reports and create exhibits such as charts and graphs to support analysis. Act as a liaison between various organizations and agencies to develop and implement general and case-specific information exchange. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in economics, information technology, computer science, accounting, finance, business, or similar quantitative field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; demonstrated critical analysis, strong technological and problem‑solving skills. Ability to conduct research using law enforcement databases and open‑source search tools; outstanding written and communication skills. Attendance, flexibility, and the ability to build and maintain satisfactory working relationships with other agencies and OAG employees.
