As a cook at University, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and directions.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure food safety and quality.
• Following all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen.
• Assisting with inventory management and ensuring ingredients are properly stored.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver consistently excellent dishes.

We’re searching for candidates who are passionate about cooking and meet the following requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience working in a kitchen or similar environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and directions precisely.
• A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• A commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
