Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who enjoys programming, setup, and precision manufacturing? We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can independently program, set up, and operate CNC equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Create and modify CNC programs using G-Code and CAM software
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models
• Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for optimal production
• Perform first-piece inspections and verify dimensional accuracy
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues
• Maintain quality standards and production documentation
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
• Ensure all work meets customer specifications and company quality requirements
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing best practices

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience
• 2+ years of CNC programming experience
• Strong understanding of G-Code programming
• Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred

• Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, or similar CAM software
• Familiarity with Mazak preferred, Haas, Fanuc, Okuma, or Siemens controls
• Multi-axis machining experience
• Technical school or manufacturing certification
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• CMM experience
