Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Experience a rewarding opportunity delivering exceptional occupational therapy services within a supportive school environment near Sparks, NV. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week for the 2025-2026 school year. You’ll serve 1-2 school locations and work with a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, ranging from elementary through secondary grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Nevada required
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Skilled in providing OT evaluations, therapy, and ongoing assessments
• Ability to adapt to a caseload/workload model with diverse student needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnership with educators, families, and staff
• Comfortable traveling between assigned sites as an itinerant provider

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy, individualized interventions, and assessments for students with varied needs
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, maintaining thorough documentation in the district's IEP system (training provided)
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families in developing goals and strategies for student success
• Utilize administrative and indirect hours efficiently for planning, team meetings, and reporting
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations and timelines
